10-Day Pricing & Cost Check - Find the margin issue. Know what to fix.
We check a defined set of transactions against your approved supplier-cost and customer-pricing rules, validate discrepancies with your team, and deliver an evidence-backed correction plan.
The check is the packaged way to start when the financial issue has not yet been located. If you already know the workflow problem, we scope that directly.
Try one comparison before scoping the full check.
The free Missed Price Checker compares invoice lines with approved customer prices on your device. Use its sample, or bring your own CSVs. The paid engagement adds the commercial context, validation, and correction plan.

A deliberately narrow first engagement - One defined reconciliation—not a search for every possible leak.
The initial check focuses on supplier-cost changes and customer-pricing decisions. Freight, rebates, inventory, and other margin questions enter scope only through a separate agreement.
- Supplier-cost follow-through. Test whether approved cost changes and required pricing reviews took effect on the correct basis and date.
- Customer-pricing validity. Check whether transactions reflect current agreements, approved renewals, and documented exceptions.
- Transaction exceptions. Distinguish a correct exception from a data problem or a transaction that warrants corrective review.
How the check works - Scope. Reconcile. Validate. Hand over.
The engagement starts only after the agreed data, commercial rules, and designated reviewer are available.
01
Scope the check
Agree on one supplier or category, one period, the commercial rules to test, required exports, and written completion criteria.
02
Reconcile the data
Normalize the agreed transactions, cost records, pricing records, effective dates, and adjustments into a reproducible comparison.
03
Validate the findings
Review apparent discrepancies with your designated expert. Authorized exceptions, fixed-price agreements, credits, and timing differences remain visible.
04
Hand over the correction plan
Deliver the exception register, financial assessment, prioritized actions, and the evidence needed for your team to decide what to correct.
What you receive - Working evidence your team can review and act on.
- Reproducible analysis. A documented method and calculation for the agreed checks, including assumptions and source references.
- Exception register. Transaction-level observations, supporting evidence, customer-review status, and disposition.
- Financial assessment. Confirmed discrepancies separated from potentially recoverable amounts, future opportunities, and dismissed findings.
- Correction plan. Prioritized next actions with owners, approvals, and verification steps.
- Review handover. A working session with your financial sponsor and rule reviewer to resolve open items and transfer the analysis.
- Next-step options. A clear recommendation to correct, monitor, investigate further, or stop.
What your team provides
Only the records needed for the agreed check.
- Scoped transaction and adjustment exports.
- Relevant supplier-cost records and effective dates.
- Approved customer-pricing rules and agreements.
- A sponsor and reviewer authorized to validate the rules.
Deliberate boundaries
The diagnostic does not take commercial action.
- No ERP replacement or write access.
- No automatic price or cost changes.
- No supplier or customer contact on your behalf.
Practical questions - What you need to know before deciding.
- What data is needed?
- A scoped request based on the agreed check—typically transaction lines, adjustments or credits, supplier-cost records, customer-pricing records, effective dates, and documented exceptions for one supplier or category and one period.
- Do you need system access?
- No. The initial approach is read-only analysis of agreed exports and supporting records.
- Who needs to be involved?
- A financial sponsor and someone authorized to validate the cost and pricing rules, exceptions, and agreements.
- How much time does our team need?
- Plan for an initial scoping conversation, a rules review, a findings review, and a handover. A typical planning allowance is 30 minutes for scope, 1–2 hours for the pricing review, and 30 minutes for handover; the proposal confirms it. Export and data-preparation work is additional and depends on your systems.
- What happens before the ten days start?
- We identify the export owner, confirm the required fields and agreements, and check that the records can answer the question. The proposal separates any data preparation from the investigation. We agree a start date once the inputs and reviewer are available.
- Will you change prices or contact suppliers?
- Not during the diagnostic. The check produces evidence and a correction plan; your team decides what to act on.
- How is confidential information handled?
- According to transfer, access, processing, retention, and deletion arrangements agreed in writing before any data is provided.
What happens after a finding?
Your reviewer confirms the discrepancy. The correction plan names the owner, required approval, and a way to verify the fix on subsequent transactions. Your team can carry it out, or request a separately priced implementation or recurring check.
What if the review finds nothing material?
You still receive the agreed reconciliation, the records checked, the exclusions, and the reviewer’s decisions. The fixed fee pays for that investigation. Recoveries and a follow-on project are not assumed.
Commercial terms
Fixed fee. Written scope. Clear acceptance criteria.
Scope and feasibility are confirmed before kickoff. The review may find no material recoverable issue; the fee covers the agreed investigation and deliverables. Any correction, monitoring, or automation work is approved and scoped separately.
Let’s start with one thing.
What would better performance look like?
Bring a result you want to improve, a symptom, or a workflow you already understand. You do not need to know the bottleneck yet. We’ll help choose what to investigate first.
No transaction files needed for the first conversation.
